Just after signing summer league standout Tyler Johnson, the Miami Heat continue to add youth and athleticism to its bench by reaching an agreement with forward Reggie Williams.
Free-agent forward Reggie Williams has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Miami Heat, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Williams, who played briefly for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season, will add some scoring punch to the Heat’s bench. The 28-year-old forward has played for the Golden State Warriors, the Charlotte
Bobcats Hornets and three games with the Thunder.
He is a 37 percent three-point shooter for his career and will have a chance to enter Miami’s rotation with the departure of James Jones and Ray Allen.
He is the 15th player added to the roster. Teams can carry up to 20 players during training camp, but a maximum of 15 in the regular season.
