When the NBA schedule is eventually released, we will already know that the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers will face off four times. But when they play will be the interesting part.
According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Heat and Cavs are scheduled for a Christmas day matchup that will pin LeBron James against his former teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
According to a league source familiar with the preliminary schedules forwarded recently to teams, the Heat’s first meeting with James’ Cavaliers is scheduled for Christmas atAmericanAirlines Arena, in what the preliminary schedule lists only as a “night” game.
Winderman also reports that another game is tentatively scheduled for March 16 at AmericanAirlines Arena. Miami will travel to Cleveland on February 11 and April 2.
