The Miami Heat got a break when the 2014-15 NBA Schedule officially released Wednesday evening, getting a seven-game home stand at AmericanAirlines Arena in December.
From Dec. 17 to Dec. 29, the Heat will play the Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic before getting back on the road to take on the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 31.
As much as a seven-game homestand will be appreciated, the Heat were also dealt two five-game road trips. The first being from Dec. 5 to Dec. 12 and the next from Jan. 8 to Jan. 16. The first trip will have Miami playing at the Milwaukee Bucks, at Memphis, at the Phoenix Suns, at the Denver Nuggets and at the Utah Jazz. The January trip starts at the Portland Trail Blazers then goes to the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and ends in Sacramento against the Kings.
The Heat also have a key four-game homestand to wrap up the season, hosting games against the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors and Orlando before playing the final game in Philadelphia.
