I don’t know what it is about the Miami Heat seeking players that were decent four years ago to fill out its bench (see: Reggie Williams and Shawne Williams a.k.a the Williams Brothers) but it turns out the Heat and Leandro Barbosa are showing ‘mutual interest,’ according to Basketball Insiders’ Alex Kennedy.
There’s mutual interest between Leandro Barbosa and the Miami Heat, according to league sources. Don’t be surprised if he signs with them.

Barbosa made a name for himself with the old Phoenix Suns, hitting three-pointers at an unconscious rate.
I mean, seriously, what is this? Is the floor lava?
Barbosa is still a quality shooter but his production has dipped the last three years, spending time with the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and then back to the Suns last season.
If the 31-year-old signs with the Heat–which Kennedy reports is likely to happen–it will be to help fill the void left by Ray Allen, who seems doubtful to return.
