Reggie Williams sticks with No. 55. Johnson is a very intriguing prospect, you can read more about what he potentially brings to the Heat here.
As for Shawne Williams, you can read what his role figures to be here.
And, of course, what you need to now about Reggie Williams’ role with the team.
Other Heat players to wear No. 55 include Eddie House (10-11), Billy Thompson (88-91) and, of course, Jason Williams (05-08).
Heat players to wear No. 8 include Carlos Arroyo (09-11), center Isaac Austin (96-98), forward Tang Hamilton in 2001, Shaun Livingston (08-09), Jamario Moon in 2009 and, of course, Antoine Walker (05-07).
Previous to Shawne, the No. 43 had only been worn by Grant Long from 1988-1994.
Reggie has worn No. 55 at every stop except his brief stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. This will be the first time Shawne will wear No. 8 (has worn Nos. 3, 4 and 7 in the past).
