From the elite guards to big men who can stretch the floor with their shooting, this year’s NBA draft class offers numerous dynamic shooters.

There’s no doubt that the NBA is a shooters league now, with 3-point shooting on the rise and offenses designed around maximizing spacing through perimeter shooters. It’s become more important than ever to stock your roster with as much shooting as possible.

In this draft there is an incredible depth of offensive talent, from the elite guards at the top of the class to some of the stretch big men that’ll be available when the Miami Heat make their selection at No. 14.

When it comes to shooting, here are five of the very best shooters in this year’s draft.

5. V.J. Beachem, Notre Dame

While not one of the household names in the draft, Beachem became one of the Irish’s most reliable shooters over four years in South Bend. He’s garnering comparisons to Trevor Ariza for good reason, with a 6-foot-8 frame and an ability to be used as an effective spot-up 3-point shooter

A career 39 percent 3-point shooter at Notre Dame, Beachem showcases consistent NBA range and will be a valuable floor spacer in any offense almost immediately. The senior is experienced and has a wide array of scoring skills.

While Beachem will be best served as a bench shooter, he can still make a play like this one against Clemson, where he runs off a few screens, catches with his back to the basket and spins back to hit an impressive jumper.

Beachem will find himself breaking into any rotation with his impressive frame combined with an NBA-ready jumper.
