In today’s look at what’s going on in the world of the Miami Heat, we’ll take a look at draft ideas, trade possibilities and Bam Adebayo’s summer.

Now that the NBA Draft Lottery is in the rear view, it’s time to deal with the aftermath and prep for the draft. In today’s edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we’ll take a look at All U Can Heat’s staff picks for the 13th draft pick, possible trade scenarios, and who is Bam Adebayo working out with this summer?

We’ll break down what we’ve written this week here at AUCH without further ado.

All U Can Heat staff selections for the 13th pick: In the hours following the draft lottery, a handful of our writers gathered together for a roundtable led by our Kenneth Wilson to discuss our choices for that 13th pick.

Bam Adebayo to work out with Chris Bosh this summer: Not only will Bam be working out with Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer, he’ll also get some time in which Chris Bosh. Given the wide range of abilities these two players possess, this could be a transformative summer indeed for Adebayo if their lessons resonate.

Fran Fraschilla has words of caution about the 13th pick: Let’s face it, the 2019 draft is not a good draft class from the looks of it. Fraschilla broke down just why it’s unimpressive outside the top three or four picks, and we discussed why trading the pick would be just fine if the opportunity presented itself.

Heat should keep eyes on Memphis point guard scenario: It’s the worst-kept secret in all the NBA: The Memphis Grizzlies need to trade Mike Conley. They’re expected to take Ja Morant in the draft, which means Conley may be even more a priority to move. Kenneth Wilson took a look at how the Miami Heat could capitalize on this situation.
