A day after being called out by Toronto Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo, (who insinuated that Chris Bosh had quit on his team last year by not playing through pain) Bosh replied.

OK, it’s been a few weeks since LeBron James made his “Decision” on national television, effectively (albeit unintentionally) ripping the heart right out of Cleveland Cavaliers fans everywhere, and simultaneously giving every fan of basketball south of the Florida-Georgia state line a reason to feel like a kid at Christmas who’s just woken up to find he got every present he’d ever dreamed of.

The outrage over the “Decision” didn’t just come from Cavaliers fans, either.

There was no dearth of articles being written by those in the mainstream sports media and here on Bleacher Report, as well as thousands of comments posted in response to those articles and on blogs expressing equal parts disdain, anger, bitterness, and envy from fans of the Lakers, Bulls, Knicks, Nets, etc.

Many fans along with “so called experts” out there are saying Miami’s lack of a bench will be a problem. That it will prevent the Heat from securing the Eastern Conferences top seed. This same group then exclaims that Miami’s lack of depth will become an even larger issue come playoff time.

Imagine what this team is going to be like on a daily basis.  Think of the excitement and energy.  Some question whether we’ll be able to play D against a guy like Dwight Howard.  Valid point but the real question is how are teams going to play D against us?

It’s called Miami-Wade County for a reason . A brand that’s bigger than the team itself, a name that represents an entire city’s love for basketball defined by one statement.
Dwyane Wade has lifted the city of Miami on his back time and again until it reached the pinnacle of the sport in 2006. In years past Wade has drawn comparisons to others who were the central sports figures in their cities such as, LeBron James in Cleveland and Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles with  some references even being made to Michael Jordan in Chicago .

According to Yahoo Sports Eddie House is now a member of the Miami Heat, again. Mark Bartelstein (Eddie’s agent), told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday that the 32-year-old guard and Miami agreed on a two-year contract for $2.8 million.
House was originally drafted by Miami and played his first 3 NBA seasons with the Heat.

A fan was escorted out of the New York Yankees vs Cleveland Indians game last night for wearing a LeBron James Heat jersey. Now seriously the guy did look goofy with the under armour and tilted cap to match but come on is this not still America. Aren’t we free to wear whatever we want? The Miami Heat are rewarding Kenny Hasbrouck’s Summer League Play with a contract and camp invitation.
The contract which is not guaranteed will enable Hasbrouck to collect some money for the time he has spent with Miami since the latter part of last season and into the summer.
Hasbrouck is a potent scorer who played college ball at Siena. He was one of the main contributors in Las Vegas for Miami, averaging 13.6 points per game while shooting 49.0 percent from the field and 45.0 percent from three-point range.
