What We Learned From Last Night’s Game vs. the Bucks
Last night the Heat suffered what Shane Battier called their first “clunker.” The definition of clunker is a thing that is totally unsuccessful and that is exactly what the Heat’s performance against the Bucks was last night. LeBron gave a typical LeBron performance with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. He only missed one out of thirteen free throws and played 37 minutes. The rest of the team, however, played terribly. Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers combined for 35 points, but the stat that described their game was the turnover column. Bosh had 8 and Chalmers had 6 of [...]

Point guard looks like it is still a pressing need for the Miami Heat. Incumbent point guard Mario Chalmers is a free agent and the Miami Heat look like they are content on letting him leave. They drafted Norris Cole in the first round before the lockout this summer. So who are the Heat interested in taking Chalmers spot on the Heat roster? Enter Chauncey Billups. The New York Knicks have worked out a sign and trade with the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks for center Tyson Chandler. Chandler was a major problem for the Miami Heat in the NBA finals last [...]
Heat Owner Fined By NBA Puppet Commissioner
Last Friday, Miami Heat owner Micky Arison made some comments on his Twitter account, that NBA commissioner David Stern did not take kindly to. Stern fined him $500,000, half-a-millions dollars for his tweets. There are reports out there that the commissioner was pressured to levy a heavy fine on Arison by the small-market owners. It has become increasingly evident that the NBA is no longer even ran by Stern. He has become a puppet for the small-market owners. One of the tweets that Arison sent out included: “How’s it feel to be apart of ruining the best game in the world? NBA owners/players don’t give a [...]
ESPN Top 10 Player list Review
It was released on twitter as a countdown. Here’s a look at the Heat players that cracked the list and where they rank. In very non-surprising news, the Heat have three of the top twenty-five players. An argument could be made for Chris Bosh being ranked higher then number twenty-four, but I am not here to make that today. Instead today, I am going to take a look at ESPN’s top 10 rankings of the players, as well as give you analysis of what I think of the list. Here’s a look at the top 10 with links to their [...]
Dwyane Wade and the Finals
Heat superstar shooting guard, Dwyane Wade has made the NBA Finals twice in his 8-year NBA career now. His first time in the finals, Wade was mighty impressive. Wade won the Finals for the Miami Heat that season and was named the NBA Finals MVP. In 2006, Wade led a group of over-the-hill Heat players to a championship against the Dallas Mavericks. In 2011, after dealing with some injuries and some lackluster rosters, (we’re looking at you Smush Parker), Wade made his return to the promised land, once again, against the Mavericks of Dallas. This time, he made it there [...]

Hours before the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls tip off in Miami for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Derrick Rose has made made some comments on PED’s in the NBA that could end up surrounding the league MVP with controversy.
The Chicago Bulls took advantage of its mismatches in taking the first game of this best-of-seven series. Miami gave up too many second chance points, allowing the Bulls 31 second chance points and 19 offensive rebounds. Chicago also out-shot Miami by 19 attempts, putting up 87 shots compared to only 68 for the Heat. This discrepancy is due to the great play on the boards by Chicago’s bigs. Miami will lose this series if they cannot figure out a way to limit these second chance opportunities from Chicago. No team can survive giving that many more attempts to other team. [...]
