No. 2: San Antonio Spurs

They are old. They don’t have a dominant player like Chris Paul, Durant, or LeBron. But if you watched the Finals, they deserve to be No. 2 if not No.1-B.

If the basketball gods didn’t want Miami to win, they would have won the championship (but it’s okay, since the same gods wanted Dallas and Dirk to get a ring so they made Dallas win in 2011). The Spurs are controlled, professional and play well in a perfect system. Watching the Finals, it was clear the Spurs and Heat were on another level.

If the Spurs can repeat or avoid a meltdown in the Western Conference Finals, we could see the same thing again… and be endlessly entertained.
