Coming in first is not always a good thing. In 2008, Forbes released an article rating Miami as the number one worst city to be a sports fan in. According to the article, the city’s four major teams (Dolphins, Marlins, Heat and Panthers) combined to win only about 40 percent of their games, while fans paid the seventh-highest ticket (etc.) rate among 29 major sporting locations.
"“That’s what happens when the NBA Heat and NFL Dolphins combine to go 16-82 during the 2007-08 season, more than offsetting the competitiveness of baseball’s young Florida Marlins.”"
