2. LeBron James
2015-16 Season: Contrary to popular belief, LeBron did not fall off this season. He posted averages of 25.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists, which resemble those of his career. He was also named to another All-NBA First Team, his 10th.
Contract Status: LeBron is operating on a two-year contract, with a player option after the first season. The idea is that he can always opt out after a year, see what progress can be made with the team, before signing a new contract with similar terms. It also allows him to earn the maximum amount of money with each contract and will allow him to take advantage of the upcoming cap spike.
Does He Fit In Miami? LeBron fits anywhere, because he is such a versatile player when he’s engaged, and even when he isn’t. The only downside of adding him with the Heat’s current roster is Dragic needing the ball to be at his best, and the absence of shooters.
