Play Making
Winslow’s play-making ability was a thing of beauty to watch at Duke. Winslow has vision to pass the ball and keep his teammates involved in many ways.
This is an example of one great pass Winslow made during the season, looking off his opponent, creating space for a teammate, as he dishes to the open teammate to knock down a big shot.
Winslow was known for his play-making ability in his one year at Duke, but only displayed flashes of that potential last season. While his 2.1 assists per game at Duke does not look like a gaudy number that jumps off the screen, but it was not an aspect of his game that was overlooked by scouts and Duke fans.
If Winslow is given more free rein to handle the ball for the Heat next season, this is an area Winslow can certainly improve on. His vision and ability to see the floor is an asset for him.
