What starting lineup would you like to see on opening night?

Mora: Ideally, I’d want to see Dragic, Waiters (if healthy, if not Richardson), James Johnson, Kelly Olynyk, and Whiteside. Right now anyways, I think Adebayo and Winslow are perfect off the bench and Wade can also be that veteran presence to assist the second unit. I also want to see 7/11 again so bad; those days were a lot of fun and I think they have great chemistry, that only end up getting stronger with time. Olynyk is a great veteran presence that is very versatile and is a great floor spacer. Whiteside needs a bounce back season and it seems he is motivated again. So, maybe this lineup can become the future starters for Miami moving forward. Each provides a great attribute that compliments each other. This is the lineup we need to see first and foremost, moving forward.

Ebrahim: Is it bad to include Jimmy Butler in the lineup? (That’s the dream obviously, as it probably is for many fans, but I digress…) I think it should be Dragic, Wade (for obvious honorary purposes), Richardson, Johnson, and Whiteside. If Waiters was healthy, I’d definitely consider starting him over Wade. And I was very close to moving Whiteside to the bench for Adebayo to be honest. But all in all, I’d love to see 7/11 and the Brothers Johnson be used at different portions of the game, to spell some of the starters and jolt some offense, but this is how I’d roll out the starting lineup on opening night.
