The Saga Continues

The social media coverage was quick and stern. The happening prompted many, notably including a Miami based radio personality in Brendan Tobin, to post about the incident. It went so far, that the original account of heatvshaters was blocked by Waiters on Instagram, but that wasn’t it.

As indicated by the above-embedded tweet from the account, not only did Waiters block them, but his representation eventually reached out to the owner of the account. Waiters’ management asked if they could remove the content, saying that it amounted to “bad press” for their client. I spoke with the owner of the corresponding social media accounts on this issue, choosing to remain anonymous, here is what they had to say on the issue and in response to the manager’s request.

"My reply was just “Hello. Though I do agree it is a very rough time, I do not think I should take down the post due to it only being related to the news of the suspension”"

Fair enough if you ask me, fair indeed. These weren’t explicitly private or intimate issues or details, they were just a particular set of details that started to gain traction, and that Dion felt the need to respond to or interact with. For the most part, it was all common knowledge, but here is an actual screen capture from the heatvshaters  Instagram account of the actual message exchange.
