Should the Miami Heat look into signing replacement players?
The Miami Heat are one of the latest NBA teams to be further impacted by the coronavirus. Will they look to replace the positive testing players?
The Miami Heat aren’t made of Teflon when it comes to dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. No one in the NBA or any other walk of life is.
Reportedly having as many as three cases among their players, one confirmed in Derrick Jones Jr., they headed to Orlando on Wednesday to begin their preparation for the restart.
Like other teams around the league that have dealt with their portion of the pandemic as they got set to head to the NBA restart in Orlando, the Miami Heat now have a few questions to answer. While the first is always about the greater good and future health of the person and player, there are a few more.
Even beyond their future health in general as far as living, which again is always the most important thing, you have to ask yourself if they will play again this season, as some other players from other teams reportedly won’t. You also have to ask yourself if they should go out and look to sign replacement players?
The Miami Heat are down a few guys due to the coronavirus as they look to head to Orlando. Will they sign replacements?
As Brooklyn lost quite a few of their regular guys as they looked to head to Orlando, they have since reportedly added on two players to their roster. They are said to have signed NBA veterans Jamal Crawford and are moving closer towards signing Michael Beasley, the former Miami Heat top draft pick.
To answer all of these questions surrounding the Miami Heat though, they probably won’t sign replacement players. This inevitably means that the going thought should be that the players that have tested positive will travel to Orlando at some point to play in the restart. That’s a least what some close to the sitiuation think, such as Five reasons sports network.

We sure hope they are. It could be a long period in Orlando if they are not, if you know what we mean, even though we don’t know for certain who the players are yet.

As we have said countless times here and before, the health of the person is the most important thing, but we hope that they can get back to the team. This is only if they feel safe and are up to it though. We shall continue to wait and see.
