In Game 4, Jimmy Butler will come up big for the Miami Heat with 30+ points.

This may not be as much a hot take as it is just a reasonable assumption, but look for Jimmy Butler to have a huge game on Wednesday night. For now, I’m going to quantify “huge” as 30 or more points, given that he’s hit that mark just twice in 12 games this postseason.

When Pat Riley and the front office brought Butler to South Beach, it was strictly for moments like this, in these playoff moments. He’s the one to credit for their arrival to the Eastern Conference Finals after all, which most wouldn’t have predicted before Opening Night last October.

Butler’s is the alpha dog, whether he likes to admit it or not, and Miami’s best player. With this team looking for answers for both a Boston offense and defense that has disrupted the Heat’s rhythm, it’s on their star player to will them into a solution in Game 4 on Wednesday.

I can’t think of one situation where Butler hasn’t risen to the occasion at any point in this season, let alone playoffs. Whether’s it hitting a clutch three or making a defensive stop, he’s been there.

Butler’s averaging 20.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.1 steals for the Miami Heat this postseason. Look for him to eclipse the 30-point mark in Game 4, as they look for a win.
