The Miami Heat have had this big plan for a while now. With next offseason in the scope, why blow it up now?
What About Hunting The Whale and The Plan?
The Miami Heat have supposedly been planning for this next offseason for a while now. At every turn, this is all you have heard.
Well, if they make this move, then it doesn’t impact that directly with Harden’s money coming off the books, but are the Heat the same attractive desitination they once were?
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, we are talking about Giannis Antetokounmpo. Would he still want to come to a gutted Miami Heat team?
I don’t know. Let’s all be clear here.
I trust Pat Riley and the Miami Heat. I wouldn’t like the fact of likely moving Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and some others, but if they see fit for it to be done then I believe in it.
I don’t think it’s the best move or way to play it all though and I don’t think he neccessarily would put them over the top, especially for what they would be losing. If it means anything, I’d much rather wait to try and land Giannis.
The rumors won’t stop coming though, that we can promise. These are three things the Miami Heat must think about when hearing these rumors though.
This James Harden scenario isn’t one to play with.
