Miami Heat Need to Stop Going Through the Motions

The Miami Heat Culture shouldn’t seem ‘pretend’, as it does now at times.

As stated with and about kata, it seems the same thing has happened to the Miami Heat. They have all these defensive and offensive strategies that they deploy, but are they really effective?

For example, you’ll see them fake to steal the ball, then dash off to guard the man you left behind. You’ll see them fake a shot here, then drive to the basket.

All normal things in the world of basketball, we know. The thing is, lately, these motions don’t look real.

They look so contrived that most teams aren’t biting. They’ve probably seen enough tape on Miami and so much so that they know exactly what actions the Heat will be executing and when they’ll be looking to do so.

The result, most teams outscore the Heat. The Heat’s defense is not really putting much pressure to provide stops either.

The bottom line, loss after loss for last year’s Eastern Conference Champions and NBA Title Finalist.

They are in a tricky place right now. They have times where they look good, but then they have times where they just look… awful.

It’s really confusing.
