Is it time for Miami Heat head man, Erik Spoelstra, to put Bam on a minimum shot-count?

The Miami Heat will only go as far as both, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, can take them. Again, that means Jimmy Butler AND Bam Adebayo.

With that, Bam has to know this as well.

Is it time for Spo to put Bam on a minimum shot-count?

It sounds crazy, but is it necessary? It might be.

While you don’t want Bam forcing things, he has opportunities now that he just doesn’t take. It’s really frustrating.

If you watch as closely as some do, then you may have seen one of Jimmy Butler’s most recent on-court postgame talks. In it, he noted how Coach Spo expects for him to get a certain amount of rebounds.

That actually is a good thought. Coach Spoelstra should take a similar approach with Bam.

Yes, it is time. Coach Spo should require that Bam take a certain amount of shots per night at this point.

It sounds crazy, but perhaps that hardwiring will trigger his natural programming as a lead dog. Lead dogs lead and that may happen in any of a number of different facets.

For Bam Adebayo and for the sake of his Miami Heat, one of those facets, for him, needs to be trying to score the ball more.

The Miami Heat need to close this road trip strong, as they won’t have any excuses without Jamal Murray in tow and against a poor Minnesota team. Though Wednesday won’t be easy, they should win.

One of these questions will certainly be answered by then as well, perhaps even two.
