Miami Heat: Should Have Been Fined For Tampering – The Big 3 Era
The last situation is pretty self explanatory. Think about it… you probably already know where this is headed.
The Miami Heat Big 3 Era
They’ll tell you that they were and are friends, meaning that they talk on a very regular basis anyway. That is and can be true, one thousand percent.
However, when you come together explicitly to talk “teaming up”, that’s something totally different. While the results of those meetings came to fruition with the Big 3, meaning the results are now known, there have been multiple times where these same groups of guys or major players within this group have come together for similar purposes.
Yes, we are sure that the Banana Boat Crew always talks ball when they are together, even if for vacation. Notably, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony, there is no chance that “teaming up” wasn’t something that came up during 80 percent or more of their group activities… or more.
It’s just the nature of competition. Well, that’s certainly how the Big 3 Era of Miami happened.
You can’t prove anything otherwise to logical minds. It was nothing but tampering, at the highest of levels, but it got done.
The Miami Heat didn’t win the many titles that LeBron had hoped for, but they got two. Either way it stands though, they could have been penalized for it.
They definitely tampered, in the NBA collective bargaining agreement sense, to make that happen. That and the two other mentioned instances were three times that they definitely could have and like, should have, been fined for tampering.
