Predicting Miami Heat NBA 2K22 ratings

Dewayne Dedmon – 76

When the Miami Heat needed a backup center last year, Dewayne Dedmon stepped up and played the role perfectly. He played so well that they re-signed him to a two-year deal.

Dedmon stated that his sole purpose is to give Bam Adebayo some rest when he needs it. He finished last season as a 75 overall, so a one overall bump seems fair for how well he played his role.

PJ Tucker – 77

PJ Tucker signed a two-year deal to join the Miami Heat this offseason. He played a key role in the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship run last year and will probably play a similar role in Miami this year.

He played so well in the playoffs last year on the defensive end, that 2K might just give him a little rating bump. Putting him at around a 77 overall is about right.

Victor Oladipo – 78

At his best, Victor Oladipo is a much better player than this rating would let off. However, injuries have derailed his career for the past couple of seasons.

Oladipo will hope to be back around the start of this season, and if he can start playing well again, his rating will surely go up. Considering his injuries, a 78 overall is pretty accurate until he gets back out on the court.

Tyler Herro – 78

Tyler Herro struggled in the playoffs last season, but other than that, he played fairly well. He’s the team’s go-to sixth man, and will likely continue to thrive in that role this year.

Last year, he ended 2K21 with a rating of 78 overall. There’s a chance that 2K decides to lower his rating due to his playoff struggles, but keeping him at a 78 would be very fair.
