The Miami Heat have a chance to win a title this season. It’s really that simple and by continuing to add talent or pieces, they increase those chances just that much more.

That means that whether you are talking about another addition from the outside, such as bringing in another player or development internally, they aren’t that far from being one of the teams that you definitely consider top contenders for the title. There is also the whole scenario of returning health, which doesn’t impact every team, but does the for Miami Heat.

Well, that’s a general outlook. The “add talent” part is still a really interesting part though, because according to reports, there might just be some more of it out there to be had.

What’s that mean though? Here is the specific outlook and report in question.

While there are rumors and reports out there, the most trusty or not, that indicate that the Miami Heat have been in on these talks with the team and for the player in question, those aren’t the ones to focus on … right now. Right now, the initial report and this one, from Shams Charania, is the one to focus on.

Miami Heat Rumors: At The Right Price, Should They Be Interested In John Wall?

It’s about a guy that has, sort of, been connected to the Miami Heat before but who has seen an enormous fall.

Here is the report from Charania. It is a doozy, but not a total shocker, per se.

Again, while there are some reports out there that might have you believe that the Miami Heat are entertaining trading for Wall, those reports might not be the most accurate.

Hopefully, they aren’t, as to give up something of value for Wall’s mega-salary would be a moot move, at best and at worst, a backwards move.

That doesn’t mean that they don’t have a use or need for him though. In fact, they could certainly use a player of Wall’s ilk.

At the right price and of course, if he ever hits the Buyout Market, the Miami Heat should be all over him. Here’s what a move like that could mean.

Miami Heat: At Right Price, They Should Definitely Be Interested In John Wall

The common theme heading into the year is that the NBA Title will, inevitably, run through the Eastern Conference. The reigning champs, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the team with the most top-end talent, the Brooklyn Nets, reside in the East.

That also shouldn’t shock then, when you find out that most have them on a different tier than any other team in the Eastern Conference. Well, as indicative of the Nets’ fortune, talent wins out in the NBA.

If the Miami Heat could land John Wall, that takes them up by three clicks, minimally. Not only do they add to the overall arsenal, skill set, and depth of their team, in totality, but he’s likely their Sixth Man if he came over.

He would be the best Sixth Man in the league, bar none. When you think about a reserve unit that features him, Tyler Herro, Max Strus, Dewayne Dedmon, Markieff Morris, and quite a few other guys, they could be the best bench unit in the league, by far.

Listen though, there’s also something that’s probably been forgot, at the moment. Victor Oladipo should be back by the All-Star break, minimally and with some people thinking it could be as soon as December.

What’s that do for the Miami Heat? If Victor Oladipo and John Wall can be your first two guys off the bench and that unit consists of Herro, Wall, Oladipo, Strus, Dedman, Morris, and everything else, they have another superpower to deploy against teams.

No team’s bench would be able to compete with that. The Miami Heat would literally be able to win games based on the separation that their bench provides or because the starters would dominate, seeing as though the opposition might have to fatigue their starters to compete with the Heat bench.

It could be fireworks. So, again and only at the right price, nothing remotely crazy, the Miami Heat should be interested in Wall if he hits the Buyout Market.

Picking him up, all but ensures, an Eastern Conference Finals berth.
