The Memphis Grizzlies’ original pick is unfortunately off the board, as Brandon Clarke was picked fourteenth overall by the Boston Celtics in this re-draft. This time around, Matisse Thybulle lands in Memphis.

Clarke provides great depth at the forward for the Memphis Grizzlies. However, with him gone, Thybulle will have to do for Grizzlies fans.

Seeing an All-Defensive player like Thybulle fall this far in the mock draft seems odd. However, considering how little Thybulle gives on the offensive end, this is where he ends up in this re-draft.

The Grizzlies would get an elite defensive guard to pair next to Ja Morant for the future. He would probably come off the bench behind Dillon Brooks, but his defensive impact would still be felt on a nightly basis.

Thybulle only slips one spot in this 2019 NBA re-draft, this time going to the Grizzlies. They miss out on Clarke but instead manage to get their hands on Thybulle.
