The Portland Trailblazers originally took Nassir Little with this pick, but go in a different direction in this re-draft. Here, they take Grant Williams with the twenty-fifth overall pick.

Little hasn’t done much with the Blazers, but he showed some improvements in his sophomore season. He could still turn into a solid role player, but right now, he’s just a very raw prospect.

Williams has a somewhat down year last season on the defensive end. However, in his rookie season, he was lights out on defense on both the perimeter and in the post.

The one place Williams did improve last year was his three-point shooting. He shot close to forty percent from deep this past season with the Celtics, which was a huge improvement from his rookie year.

Having Williams’ defensive versatility and three-point shooting would be a huge help in the Trailblazers’ rotation. They pick him up with the twenty-fifth overall pick in this re-draft.
