Unexpected free agents the Miami Heat could sign: Deividas Sirvydis & Gary Clark
Unexpected free agents the Miami Heat could sign: Deividas Sirvydis
This may seem like a very unconventional signing, but that is what this list is all about. If the Miami Heat did choose to sign Deividas Sirvydis, they would probably bump up one of their two-way players and give him a two-way contract.
Sirvydis played for the Detroit Pistons last year but struggled with efficiency. However, he did manage to shoot the ball fairly well from the field.
As previously mentioned, the Miami Heat are great at developing unseen talent. Sirvydis is a 6-8 forward who can shoot the ball, so if the Heat developed him right, he could be a very useful player.
The 21-year-old is still super young, so he has plenty of room to grow. He could be a decent player for the Miami Heat to take a chance on.
Unexpected free agents the Miami Heat could sign: Gary Clark
Gary Clark recently worked out with the Boston Celtics but has yet to sign any deals ahead of training camp. He might just be the perfect player for the Miami Heat to sign.
The 6-6 forward has spent his career bouncing around from team to team. He found the most success during his time in Orlando a couple of seasons ago.
He is a decent three-point shooter and a versatile defender who thrives at the power forward position. That is exactly the type of player the Miami Heat should be targeting.
If they develop him correctly, he could provide some much-needed wing depth for the Miami Heat. It would definitely be worth giving him a training camp deal at the very least.
