Miami Heat: Kyle Lowry Might Need To Be A Top Option At Times, But Not Always

Just like there will be some nights where he is further down, there will inevitably come a time and be some nights where he is further up that pecking order, perhaps even number one sometimes.

Even still, when he isn’t the one finishing the plays with baskets, he’ll be a huge part of what goes into getting those baskets or even more direct than that, the guy dropping the dime off for the look. All in all, it’s a great situation to have, especially for him, his teammates, and the Miami Heat.

That takes the pressure off of all of them. His teammates know that Kyle Lowry is still here and hasn’t began to tap into his offensive abilities that deeply yet, while he can say to himself, “I haven’t been great on that side and we are seeing some form of success in spite of it”.

To put it plainly, when you can boast a fourth guy that’s a six-time NBA All-Star and a former All-NBA player that can still average over 17 points, seven assists, and five boards, all while shooting nearly 40 percent on over seven attempts from range, as he did last season for a less than stellar Raptors team, you are in pretty good shape.

With Brooklyn sputtering out of the gate, with Philly still dealing, and with Milwaukee already feeling the wrath… this is the most beautiful kind of music to a Miami Heat Faithful’s ears.
