The Miami Heat are one of the best teams in the league and a threat to win it all. Heck, they sit at the top of the East right now and have beaten the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix, by a ton, which proves that they can compete with anyone and anywhere.
The rest of the league has to notice that too. They also have to notice that with this collection of talent, some of the players on this team haven’t even reached their full potential for the year yet.
You specifically note Duncan Robinson, Victor Oladipo, and Kyle Lowry, to be honest. Robinson has been really up and down this season, while Oladipo has yet to play a contest, and Kyle Lowry hasn’t really had an elongated stretch of offensive dominance— from the perspective of his own personal shots going in.
While Oladipo’s absence and Kyle Lowry’s lack of shotmaking are one thing, something to definitely be encouraged about for the future and moving forward, there is a different dynamic to think about when it concerns Duncan.

Miami Heat Rumors: Opposing Teams Trying To Sabotage This Squad?
As he has in recent contests, besides the back-to-back in one game against Toronto on Saturday, he has been getting back to being his regular self.
However and only based on his own lofty standards, records, or performances, he hasn’t really shot the ball to that level, as a whole, this year. This should remind you of a stretch last season, where he and Tyler Herro seemed to be struggling.
While it’s hard to pinpoint what might be bothering Duncan Robinson this season, it was easy to see that the noise of potentially being moved took a toll on, both, he and Tyler Herro last season. That brings up an interesting thought though and please, follow along here, as it might get a bit wanky at first.
Recently and as there are around this time every year, a flurry of rumors are beginning to surface. You could look at the Christian Wood rumor, the continuing John Wall chatter, or any other one that’s out there at the moment.
Could it be that rival general managers or leadership, people that have close contacts with reporters and also a reason to plant a seed of doubt in another contender’s chemistry, are creating this chatter out of thin air?

Miami Heat Rumors: Is Rumor Mill Being Jump-Started By The Opposition?
It’s completely plausible.
While it’s hard to say, one way or another, you have that theory because some of the reports just seem a bit out there or fruitless for the Miami Heat. Why would they tinker themselves into oblivion, when it seems as though they have a team that can compete right now?
Don’t get it twisted, you should always be looking to get better, as you can bet that Pat Riley is. However, that doesn’t mean making a major move or tremendous overhaul— just because.
While you can’t prove it, it wouldn’t be beyond belief that some of these rumors aren’t really emanating from a pure, correct, or Miami Heat adjacent place. Some of them seem to only and exclusively exist— to create seeds of doubt in the current guys.
Hopefully though, guys like Duncan Robinson and the entirety of the roster, for that matter, can continue to ignore the noise and perform to their highest levels. That should continue to propel the Miami Heat along their course into a collision with contention.
