The Miami Heat were on a three-game losing streak before handling San Antonio in Texas on Thursday, but if you were online or checking into the social media world, you would have thought the world was going to end.

The hot takes have not been fun to read considering what the Miami Heat are going through. They had four games in five nights, with a back-to-back featuring the Clippers, then the Raptors defeat.

Then they went on the road, losing at Boston without Jimmy Butler and P.J. Tucker. They would then turn around to play the Raptors again, coming up in defeat.

While both Raptors games were very winnable, the Heat still didn’t have Kyle Lowry. Without Kyle Lowry, they were missing so many things that turns this team into a championship contender.

From what we’ve seen without Kyle, this team is essentially a better version of last year’s team. From the old habits of holding the ball with no movement to the lack of rim attacking, down to the overall streaky shooting— they are all still there.

Miami Heat: Perhaps The Recent Woes Are Being Overstated

However, it’s just not noticeable due to the extra depth and developed chemistry they have. That’s key though to the whole thing.

Also, taking that into account, there should be no reason for Miami Heat fans to be worried. This is because this isn’t the same team as last year.

You have to return guys like Victor Oladipo, Markieff Morris, and Kyle Lowry, who just came back.

Yes, the fourth quarter woes are tiresome, but it is better to see these late-game issues early or midway through the season rather than playoff time.

The trade deadline is coming up soon too and who knows, Pat Riley could trade for a huge player like Beal or maybe even find another key rotational player.

As of right now though, this team isn’t finalized because they haven’t been healthy, meaning it’s not fair to the team nor one’s self to get upset over regular-season losses while being a game or two behind for the one seed.

Miami Heat: Fully Judgement Should Be Reserved For Full Health

This current team is like a puzzle. When you’re missing Jimmy for a game and everyone else is there, you’re not getting the final product.

Even a guy like P.J. Tucker brings so much value that if he’s out with everyone else there, this team still isn’t complete. You need every piece to complete that puzzle and you have to think that a fully healthy team could go all the way.

To not even be past the All-Star break and people are this angry at the results thus far, seems nonsensical. Even though Jimmy is playing, the ankle still doesn’t seem 100 percent either.

Guys are banged up but are still giving a great showing so far in the year. The returning health and ultimate return of others, plus a break, should do wonders for this team.

Just calm down. Enjoy the basketball these guys are giving.

Everything will be just fine and once Kyle Lowry fully gets back into the swing of things, with a few rusty spots in the San Antonio win, you really get to see what this team is all about.
