Miami Heat: Pat Riley Probably Wouldn’t Ever Move Them For Anthony Davis
Those are the two core reasons but as promised, here is also more. Butler and Adebayo epitomize the Miami Heat Culture.
Not that Anthony Davis won’t work hard or sell out for the betterment of the team, you can’t quite be sure he has all of that thing that goes into being a maximizable part of the Culture though.
That thing that has bathed Butler, Adebayo, P.J. Tucker, Kyle Lowry, Dewayne Dedmon, and others. It’s not a knock, but a righteous observation.
Also, Jimmy Butler has proven to be able to lead a team to the NBA Finals, Davis’ and Lebron’s Lakers in the Bubble a few years back, while Davis has not. He went toe to toe with a man that might be the GOAT, for crying out loud.
There’s also the fact that Bam is younger, more durable, with less wear and tear, and still has the chance to reach an Anthony Davis-type level of play.
There are, perhaps, a few more reasons out there. However, these are the most poignant.
Take these rumors with a grain of salt, if that. It would take a mighty big change of feelings, heart, and maybe even a whole lot more than that for Pat Riley to move Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, and again, especially the pair together, at this point.
Especially for Anthony Davis. Besides, why would he help LeBron out?
Oh, that’s right. He wouldn’t.
