The Miami Heat are coming off another dominant performance on Saturday night, owning the Chicago Bulls, once again. Being 4/4 across their quartet of matchups this season, the Miami Heat can officially say that they have Chicago’s number at this point.
Well, that goes for any of the better teams in the league, to be fair, but that’s another topic that will get covered in the near future. As far as the Miami Heat though, they have seemed to get back on track after last week’s snafu.
You know, the week that included the incident and a four-game losing streak? Yes, that one.
After defeating the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night in Boston, something they hadn’t been able to do all year long, they kept the show on the road and going strong.
They would go into Chicago’s United Center to turn the Bulls into sirloins—a meal ripe for a bunch of hungry dudes like the Heat were on Saturday.
To a tune of 127-109, the game wasn’t close after the second half, to be honest. In the midst of that beatdown though, there is a certain guy from the Miami Heat that continued to be excellent.

Miami Heat: They’re Certainly True Title Contenders With This Kyle Lowry
That could be a few of them, to be fair, and though Jimmy Butler has been downright magnificent since last week, it seems, he isn’t the guy in question. For about eight games now and though four of them occurred during that losing streak, Kyle Lowry has been a different guy and the same guy.
If it sounds confusing, it’s because it is.
He has been a “different” guy on the floor than he has been throughout the rest of this year for the Miami Heat, while he’s been the “same” guy that he was for Toronto all those years.
That was the guy that you just knew was going to kill Miami when they played, pulling up for long-ranged bombs a couple of steps behind the three-point line, or creating havoc on his way to the free-throw line by manufacturing contact on the floor.
He’s been that guy for the Miami Heat over the last two weeks.

Miami Heat: If Kyle Lowry Is Shooting His Shot, They’ll Be Tough To Beat
Averaging nearly 18 points, three boards, and six assists across his last eight contests for the Miami Heat, since the Oklahoma City game, he’s been marvelous.
However, it isn’t just about the fact that he’s converting his stuff at a high level. The mere fact that he’s taking his looks, 64 attempts from range in those eight games, is a great thing.
Never mind the fact that he’s hitting at a classic Kyle Lowry type level (about a 37 percent deep shooter for his career), making 32/64 attempts for a ridiculous 50 percent shooting from range across that span, the fact that he’s taking them changes the game!
The raw production is one thing, but what it does for the rest of his team is also worth its weight in gold. He totally bends defenses in different directions when he’s letting it go.
It’s really that simple. That’s why you’ve always wanted him to shoot his shot.
Now, he’s doing just that.
And because he is, especially at the extremely high level that he’s doing it at, that certainly makes the Miami Heat the true title contenders that a lot of people have believed they were this entire season.
Dangerous Loomers, huh?
