Miami Heat: What Are They Doing With Tyler Herro’s Extension?

Herro would only be moved for a star and as of right now, the market is dry. With the marquee guys off the table, it makes no sense to wait on a Herro extension.

The organization has sold Herro to the fanbase every Summer since he’s been drafted, whether the fans want him or not. Why are they looking away from their young star now, it seems?

After averaging the best numbers of his career so far and winning the Miami Heat’s first-ever NBA Sixth Man Of the Year Award, he should’ve at least been offered an extension of some sort by now. The New York Knicks wasted no time in getting RJ Barrett his money.

They were ahead of everyone in the Mitchell rumors and still signed their young star to big money, telling everyone that Barrett was and is their guy. Miami didn’t seem as engaged in conversations for Mitchell and yet, Herro is still waiting on his payday.
