Miami Heat: Most important stat for Max Strus in the 2022-23 NBA season
Miami Heat: More Max Strus Twos Should Help When It Comes To His Threes
First off, he has enough game to do a lot more than he does. Be that his ability to handle the rock, dribble drive the ball, or the athletic ability he has to finish aerially once he gets to the rim, his athletic ability and skills deem that he should be doing more closer to the rim than he does.
Secondly, why not help your team and yourself out in as many ways as possible? That seems pretty simple.
And lastly, though among many other reasons assuredly, is this one. If he continues to diversify his offensive game, sad completeness or an increase in versatility should only help to further keep the defense off of balance.
Not only does that allow the totality of his offensive game to flourish more but specifically when it comes to the superpower that is his outside shot, it should only allow him to be better at that. Be that more space, more unpredictability, more rhythm, or just by function of having more in his arsenal altogether, taking more two-point shots should only allow the rest of his game to get better.
He should be taking more mid-ranged shots and getting more layups, period. And that’s why this is the most important stat for Max Strus in the 2022-23 season.
