The Miami Heat had another big game on Sunday evening. Just a few days or so after dispelling the Boston Celtics, a team that they were yet to beat on the season, they would duel with another team that has given them fits all year long.
Also on the day that was deemed Kyle Lowry Day in Toronto, the Miami Heat would travel to Scotiabank Arena for a Sunday showdown with the pesky Toronto Raptors.
A team that no one seems that interested in facing in the postseason, a testament to their length across the board and their gritty playstyle, the Heat would have to overcome the guys from way up north for their own comfortabilities heading down the stretch.
You run from no one if you are the Heat, but that doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t rather go into any matchup knowing that you can beat them. That would be the case after Sunday’s matchup.

Miami Heat: Culture Is Markieff Morris And Victor Oladipo Staying Ready
Even with that though, it wasn’t just the win that stood out about the matchup. The way that the Miami Heat got the win says a lot too.
Yes, the Miami Heat were down by 10 points at halftime. Yes, the Miami Heat would come all the way back and, not only, control the game for most of the fourth period but also a lot of the second half altogether.
And the kicker to it all, they would do so, in large part, to the contributions of two guys who have found themselves outside of the regular rotation. Well, at least it seems that way as they get ready to head down the stretch.
Missing a slew of guys, including P.J. Tucker, Jimmy Butler, Gabe Vincent, Dewayne Dedmon, and Coach Spoelstra, just to emphasize the magnitude of the victory, the Heat would depend heavily on the contributions of Markieff Morris and Victor Oladipo.
And they would come through too!

Miami Heat: Udonis Haslem Says ‘Stay Ready So You Don’t Have To Get Ready’
Starting the game for the Miami Heat, Keef Morris would continue to prove that he isn’t shy at all when it comes to shooting his shots. And you need that too, especially in a Miami Heat offense that can go stagnant and stale at the very worst times, but also for a guy like Morris who can manufacture his own buckets.
Another guy who wasn’t shy on Sunday was Victor Oladipo. Plainly put, he would go on to have his very best showing ever in a Miami Heat uniform.
Morris would finish with 10 points, three rebounds, and four assists, going 4-10 from the floor and 2-6 from three. Oladipo would finish with 21 points, three rebounds, and four assists of his own, shooting 7-11 from the floor and a whopping 6-9 from range.
The Heat would need it all too. That’s Heat Culture though.
As Udonis Haslem would say, you “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready“. Those guys were on Sunday.
