In a documentary series for Uninterupted, Chris Bosh revealed that Miami Heat team doctors told him his career is probably over.

As Chris Bosh has been battling to get back on the court, it’s been clear that he and the Miami Heat haven’t seen eye to eye. Bosh, who suffered a second bout of blood clots last season, missed the latter part of his second straight season.

Bosh indicated last week that he fully expected the Heat to medically clear him to play, but the team has yet to do so. Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne have been frustrated with the Heat organization, and a few weeks ago took to social media to share videos of Bosh’s workouts to let his fans know he intends to play.

In a documentary series for Uninterupted, Chris Bosh talked openly about his journey so far, and his relationship with the Heat organization may be worse than we originally thought.

“They told me that my season is over, my career is probably over. And yeah… this just happened. It’s just how it is.” Bosh said. “I felt right away that I was written off. Just put to the side matter of factly.”

“If a doctor tells me ‘hey this is it and this is how it is’ and I don’t buy that, I think I have the right to disagree with you,” Bosh continued as he was visibly frustrated.

“I know inside me I have a lot of talent and a lot of ability. I have it, I know I have it. It wasn’t a matter of if I’m going to play again, it’s when. So we took the bull by the horns.”

It seemed as though the Heat were starting to come around to Bosh’s side. Bosh had been angling for a solution that would involve taking blood thinners that would out of his system by game time. Originally, the Heat had been opposed to that idea.

However, according to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, the organization had been starting to come around to the idea. However, Jackson adds, the team has yet to clear him.

"Bosh also was led to believe that the Heat would clear him to play, and that was his expectation entering a round of medical tests this week. But the Heat has hesitated to clear him yet before studying results of a battery of tests this week."

If Bosh is not cleared, Jackson reports, he is expected to take the issue to the NBA Players Association.

As Bosh continues to wait on the Heat, he will be holding a Facebook Live Q&A Wednesday at 1:30 pm ET on his official Facebook page.
