The Wizards stuck to the status quo this offseason, opting not to chase any free agents and instead resign their own in Garrett Temple and Martell Webster. But Washington did draft Otto Porter and so Porter stays close to home and fills a need for the Wiz.
I’m not the biggest Porter fan, but he is a good fit in Washington. Mostly because he is just a solid all-around baller who can turn the small forward spot from a weakness to, well, something other teams don’t pick on; and can help facilitate in an offense that revolves around John Wall and Bradley Beal.
