LeBron James Killed in a Hurricane on Louis C.K. Show

It was a solid night on the court for LeBron James and the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals as the team charged ahead to a 3-1 series lead over the Indiana Pacers. Off the court though, it was a lost worse of a night as they all died in a hurricane that comedian Louis C.K. made up on his hit FX television series Louie.

The fictional hurricane tore through Miami on Monday night’s episode and claimed the life of LeBron James, the Miami Heat and 12 million other people according to the hilariously dark fake news cast.

Here is how the “death” of LeBron James came about on Louis CK’s show:

"“Sad news from Miami, as Hurricane Jasmine Forsythe has claimed the life of LeBron James of the Miami Heat. Mr. James was swept away by the storm surge that destroyed 90 percent of the Florida peninsula last night. Once again, we are reporting the sad death of LeBron James. And the rest of the Miami Heat. And 12 million other people.”"

Obviously, the newscast was fake and part of the show but the social comedy in the bit isn’t to be lost on anyone. Louis C.K. is perhaps the most talented comedian alive today and his show is a hib for some of the most thought provoking comedy out there.

Thankfully for LeBron, he is very much alive and well — something that will soon not be able to be said about the Pacers in the postseason.
