Jerian Grant, SG, 6’5″ 195 lbs., Notre Dame, Senior

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Jerian Grant played a total of 12 games last season before being suspended due to academic issues. Yes, another Notre Dame student athlete who can’t perform well in the class room! On the bright side, Grant is one of the better prospects who has some serious untapped potential.

In 12 games, Grant averaged 19 points, 6.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds and two steals per game. Grant is a player who can not only create his own shot, but create open shots for his teammates. In the 2012-13 season, Grant led the Irish to a come-from-behind victory, scoring 12 points in 28 seconds to push the game to overtime.

Grant would be the perfect prospect to learn under Dwyane Wade, both having similar playing styles. Grant is ranked the 55th overall prospect by DraftExpress, but could increase his draft stock if he has a good senior campaign.
