Heat Lifers

Chris Anderson: Without the signing of the “Birdman,” it’s hard to imagine the Big 3 era of Miami Heat basketball having even one championship. His hustle and hard work helped the Heat two-folds in their quest for a title, as he was the big man the Heat needed badly. Anderson was rewarded with a nice contract after having received just the minimum with the team before that. Anderson chose the Heat over the Cavs last off-season and has become as invaluable to the Heat as any other player.

Chris Bosh: The Heat rewarded Chris Bosh with a max contract last off-season, likely to avoid the backlash of losing two players out of the Heat’s coveted big 3. Bosh, in my opinion, was worth his contract and more. This despite him missing the second half of the 2015 season due to a blood clot in his lungs. Bosh should be back and healthy in 2015/2016 and will likely be the key for the Heat’s contention chances.

Udonis Haslem: The Heat are not going to dump their co-captain. There have been plenty of opportunities for Haslem to leave or for the Heat to try to trade the former Florida Gator. Fortunately for both sides, nothing has ever come to fruition on a potential Haslem move. The only way Haslem leaves Miami is if he gets some sort of offer to join the Gators coaching staff as an assistant. This is not happening.

Dwyane Wade: I honestly don’t have anything to say about Wade. If you don’t think he needs to be back with the Heat next season, you’re not likely a Heat fan, nor do you value what the man known as Flash has provided for the franchise. No way in hell we don’t see Dwyane Wade with the Heat next season.
