By Wes Goldberg
Apr 6, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Wisconsin Badgers forward Frank Kaminsky (44) dribbles defended by Duke Blue Devils center Jahlil Okafor (15) in the first half of the 2015 NCAA Men
Frank Kaminsky, PF, Wisconsin
Measures: 7-foot-0, 242 pounds (pro day measures not available)
Strengths
- Natural shooter
- Effective in pick-and-pop situations
- Underrated with his back to the basket and in the paint
- Good footwork
- Solid passer for a big man
Weaknesses
- Average athlete
- Limited on defense
- Can he be as good in the paint in the NBA?
Pro projection: Frank Kaminsky is your prototypical stretch-4/5. He can play both big positions and be instrumental in an inside-out offensive attack in the mold of Chris Bosh or Kelly Olynyk. However, Kaminsky is a limited athlete with a ceiling defensively. A team who drafts him will need to make sure they have solid rim protection to pair with him.
