Bio: Duke University, signed with the Heat in 2011, played with Memphis and Houston prior to joining the Heat as a free agent.
Miami Heat Statistics: 210 games, 86 starts, 5.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2 championships (2011-12; 2012-13)
Why he’s here: Battier may have been the most underrated piece to the Heat’s back-to-back title run. He was the player that allowed Coach Spoelstra to work the Pace and Space offense without having to play LeBron heavily at PF on defense. One of the smartest basketball players ever, Battier typically made the right play and never complained about what he was asked to do.
