The Return of Chris Bosh
By Allana Tachauer (@ChitownHeiress)
Basketball coming back as a whole is something to look forward to, BUT nothing has me more excited for this Miami Heat season than Chris Bosh’s return.
Whether or not you are a fan of the team itself, your heart had to ache once you caught wind of Bosh’s diagnosis. Blood clots are no joke period, but finding them somewhere like the lungs, is a serious cause for concern. Fortunately, the big man got treatment in time and has slowly but surely started his journey back to the court. Where he is currently at in terms of his progress is not totally clear, but it has been said several times that he will be ready to play in time for training camp.
I will admit that Bosh is my favorite Heat player, as well as one of my top guys in the league overall, however that is not the only reason that I am anxiously awaiting his return. If you recall, Bosh began feeling worse for the wear during All-Star weekend, and was deemed out for the rest of the season a few days after that. The bad news happen to hit at about the same time as the NBA trade deadline, which is when Pat Riley brought Goran Dragic on board; in other words, the two have yet to have a chance to compete together.
We already know what Bosh is capable of when healthy and have seen Goran only grow more talented over the years, so I can only imagine the magic that will happen once the two of them get on the floor together. Between Goran’s quick tempo style of play, and Bosh’s basketball IQ…this union is sure to be explosive.
