We’ve yet to see Super Saiyan Goran Dragic. Maybe he’s still trying to figure out the speed limit before he starts driving this team, but at some point the Heat are going to need Dragic at full Goku mode and ready to speed up this team.
This could take some jiggering by Spoelstra, who could stagger Dragic’s minutes so that he gets more run with the second, faster unit.
Then there is the backup point guard job. Although, it’s not really. For a majority of the game, Spoelstra will have either one or both of Dragic and Wade on the court. So when Dragic is out, Wade will handle the ball.
That allows Chalmers to go back to Big Three era Chalmers and spot up and hit jumpers. Tyler Johnson, right now, is better in a pure point guard role and should also see some important minutes this season.
