3-Point Shooting Not an Issue

Crisp ball movement led to open jumpers in the flow of the offense for the Heat tonight. Oh, and Gerald Green made five of his eight 3-point attempts, too.
The rest of the team was 7-for-12 (58.3 percent). Also very good. Between Green and Luol Deng (3-of-3) the Heat were able to punish the Hornets from beyond the arc.
The Heat won’t get those performances every night–and won’t be playing poor perimeter defenders like Charlotte every game–but the important thing is that the potential is there. That is what opens up the floor and improves the spacing of the offense, so that guys like Dwyane Wade, Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside can do their work at the rim.
