5. Carlos Boozer

Could it finally be time for Boozer in Miami? The veteran power forward has long been linked to the Miami Heat, and with a whole in the front court, Miami could be interested in bringing him aboard to see what he has left in the tank.

Boozer last played for the Lakers and it was a disaster but, to be fair, the whole team was a disaster. It’s not like LA’s problems were his fault. I can’t imagine that Boozer would be any worse than Andersen or even Amar’e Stoudemire.

He knows how to shoot and facilitate from the elbow, he’s a strong communicator (something that is a huge positive in Miami) and knows what he can do. He’s an easy plug and play for a team that figures to be in contention for the Eastern Conference Finals.

Oh my god, I think I just talked myself into the Heat signing Carlos Boozer…
