Who should the Miami Heat sign to fill out its roster?

1. Dorell Wright

May as well start with the name thats been connected to the Heat since last summer.

Wright, 30, is intriguing mostly because he’s well liked in the Heat locker room already. That’s not nothing, but so was Chris Andersen and he couldn’t get on the court. Miami needs guys who will be able to contribute, and Wright has yet to find an NBA job this season.

He could have fresh legs for the playoffs, so there’s that. He’s an accomplished 3-point shooter, which the Heat can still use more of despite the addition of Joe Johnson and improvement of Josh Richardson.

The addition of Wright would add more wing depth, and I suspect that the Heat will fill one of its two roster spots with a wing player. Wright can’t play the stretch-4 position that Luol Deng has filled in Chris Bosh’s absence, but his addition could allow Justise Winslow to slide over and see more time defending power forwards.
