Goran Dragic to lead the way with a new host of sidekicks

The coming season presents many challenges for the Heat. On top of Wade’s departure, they have lost starting forwards Luol Deng and Joe Johnson to free agency.

As a result of these movements, the Heat will have a vastly different looking team come opening night. And although the team, and individual players, have a point to prove, it would be hard to argue that any player on the team faces a greater challenge than Goran Dragic.

Since winning the NBA’s Most Improved Player award and being selected All-NBA Third Team in 2013-14, Dragic finds himself finally in a position to show why was awarded an $80 million contract by the Heat.

It should certainly be exciting to see how he holds up his end of the deal.
