Game 4 vs Celtics, 2011 Conference Semi’s
Stat Line: 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals, 8-for-17 from the floor
Some will look at this and wonder “how the hell did that make the cut?”
Well, for starters, Bosh had never been involved in such a vital playoff series before. Sure, the Raptors had a tough six-game battle with the Nets in 2007, but they were never thrust in to the limelight like this Heat team. Coming off a horrific blowout loss at the hands of the Celtics in Game 3, Bosh openly admitted the raucous TD Garden crowd vastly overwhelmed him, as he scored put up just six points during the 16-point rout, adding more fuel to the “soft” label that had been attached to him early on.
Coming back rearing to go in Game 4, Bosh, along with the rest of the “Big 3” silenced the Boston crowd, putting the Celtics’ hopes of avenging their Finals loss from a year before on life support. A turn-around jumper over Kevin Garnett and an overtime tip-in helped seal the deal, and Miami would never lose to the boys in green again.
