OG Anunoby, F, Indiana

Age: 19
Height: 6-foot-8
Wingspan: 7-foot-2
Weight: 232 pounds

Pros:

  • Extremely versatile defender, should be able to defend positions 1-5
  • Great body and athleticism with tremendous length (7-foot-2 wingspan) and will be able to stand up to most players in the league
  • Quick first step with the potential to develop more on offense

Cons:

  • Suffered a torn ACL that he’s still rehabbing
  • Lacks shooting touch, will need to be addressed at the NBA level and reworked

Lowdown:

Anunoby has a lot of the same issues that Justise Winslow had coming out of Duke, but he’s also coming off an ACL tear that could scare a lot of teams away. However, that may be the only reason why Anunoby is available at 14. He’s as versatile a defender there is in this draft, and a team can’t have too many of those. His defensive issues and shooting skills might be redundant of Winslow, but if both develop into starters Miami would have one of the most fearsome defensive duos in the league.
