3. Malik Monk, Kentucky

Monk is one of the top picks in the draft for his offensive ability, particularly with his ability to get his shot off in every possible situation.

The Kentucky guard has unlimited range and keeps defenders honest with the threat of either getting to the rim or stepping into a 3. Monk is quite possibly the most confident shooter in the draft and feels comfortable both in the mid-range game and shooting the 3, with a simple, smooth release.

Monk’s athleticism helps his shot-making ability as he can rise up over defenders making his shot extremely difficult to block or contest. While Monk doesn’t have the measurements of a Kevin Durant, his release point comparable to his height is very similar.

Monk will be a headache to defend on the offensive end as he possesses every tool to score, making him not just one of the best shooters in the draft but one of the best overall scorers.
